If you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us to give 24 hours notice of cancellation. Full payment is required for missed or cancelled appointments without 24 hours notice.

If you have private health insurance, you may be covered to have acupuncture treatments.

Many insurers approve treatment by British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) members. Policy details vary; please check with your private health provider. 

The effects of acupuncture tend to be cumulative and increase gradually with each regular session.  Every patient case varies, however, as a general rule of thumb, the following holds true:

• For more minor, non-chronic injuries or conditions, we can usually see improvement within 4-6 sessions.

• For more major or chronic injuries or issues, we ballpark around 10-12 sessions.

• For severe or long-term chronic issues, it may take up to 20 sessions to see a significant resolution of your symptoms.
